ACCA's CFO Challenge - Semi-Finals
ACCA's CFO Challenge Semi-Finals saw a dramatic and exciting battle among the nine qualifying teams vying for a place in the Grand Final!
Held on 9 January 2009 at the HDB Hub Convention centre, the event packed in over 200 supporters cheering on the nine teams from their institutions. Well-known TV personality and former host of the Pyramid Game, Mr. Darryl David, hosted the Semi-finals and delivered an extremely entertaining, sometimes heart-stopping, evening of fun.
After 3 decisive rounds, the teams that emerged victorious were:
- SOC (SMU)
- W&Z (Independent Team, SMU)
- SAAT (SMU)
Apart from the opportunity to witness an entertaining and educational game, the audience also had a chance to win attractive prizes from ACCA by taking part in the audience segment. In addition, 10 lucky participants also won themselves some great prizes through the lucky draw.
The six teams which did not make it to the Finals did not go away empty handed. Country Head of ACCA Singapore, Ms Penelope Phoon presented the six teams consolation prizes and thanked them for their hard work and participation. A warm invitation was also extended to everyone present to attend the Grand Final.
